Obverse: Fragment from handwritten "Gelati Four Gospels" (XII c). Seated figure of Luke The Evangelist with book on his knees, facing right. Georgian and English lettering, divided by date behind figure. Right upper part: fragment form the handwritten "Mokvi Four Gospels" , AD 1300 (Matthew 24:3-8) in Georgian Nuskhuri with shortened words and stylized colored capital Asomtavruli letter "D". Under it: Latin and Georgian Asomtavruli letterings, denoting dates of first printed Georgian book ever, and first printed book in Georgia.
Reverse: Value and Lari symbol, as well as the logo of the Georgian participation at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018 (stylized Georgian letter "ა " compose together the central composition, surrounding by circular legend on German and English.
