The 1686 1 Krona is part of a series of Standard circulation coins struck from 1686-1689. The specific variety is only flower at end of King's Motto; rosettes in value. Designated as a Business (MS) strike, this coin is made of Silver (.671).
Obverse: Crown above double mirrored King's monogram. The two monograms are very ornate and have complex interwinement. King's motto as legend at sides, diveded by two flowers below monogram.
Reverse: Crowned bigger coat of arms of Denmark and its territories draped by a large bend with the pendant of the Order of Elephant. The band is tied at upper points of the coat of arms with knots and have also another big knot at lower point, just above the pendant. Mintmark is divided at both sides of lower knot and cut the value, that is along the rim as legend, with date at end.
